How does the application process work?

Once you select the job listing you are interested in, it takes an average of 5-10 minutes to apply. After reading the job description you can use your GetHired.com com log in to apply and complete survey questions.

Don’t have a GetHired.com login, no worries. You can create one from the job page or you can use your existing Indeed, LinkedIn, or Monster profiles to apply.

After you have applied, you will be contacted for the next step in the process. Our Human Resources department is dedicated to making HHL one of the best places to work, and we will be able to answer questions you have along the way.      

 

Do you have internships available?

Unfortunately, internships are not available with HHL at this time. Internships are on our radar for the future however, so keep asking. Meanwhile, we do frequently hire candidates who have recently graduated when training resources are available.

 

What types of skills is HHL looking for?

We have a wide variety of jobs that include phlebotomists, couriers, specimen processors, dispatchers, clinical laboratory scientists, clinical laboratory assistance, medical billing specialists, IT professionals and human resource professionals.

Phlebotomist requirements include; older than eighteen years of age (18), phlebotomy training, good driving record, a vehicle in good working order, and the desire to work with the elderly.

Courier requirements include; older than eighteen years of age (18), high school diploma or GED, and superior driving record.

Specimen Processors requirements include; older than eighteen years of age (18), high school diploma or GED, and minimum of one (1) year hands on medical experience.

Dispatcher requirements include; older than eighteen years of age (18), high school diploma or GED, minimum of two (2) dispatching or five (5) years customer service, and minimum of one (1) year hands on medical experience.

Clinical Laboratory Scientists requirements include; older than eighteen years of age (18), Bachelors of Science degree in CLS, MLS, MT from an accredited institution or a BS in Biological, Physical, Chemical science, graduate of a CLSI approved training program, registration by ASCP, NAA, HEW or equivalent or within one year of hire, and minimum of one (1) year experience in the clinical laboratory.

Clinical Laboratory Assistance requirements include; older than eighteen years of age (18), Bachelors of Science degree in Biological, Chemistry, and/or Chemical science, and minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the clinical laboratory.

Medical Billing requirements include; older than eighteen years of age (18), high school diploma or GED, two (2) to four (4) years of medical billing experience, and minimum of two (2) years Medicare and Medicaid billing experience.
